Unlocking Team Success with Everything DiSC® Workplace Assessments

What if stronger communication is the key to unlocking your team's full potential?

In today’s fast-paced workplace, connection isn’t just important — it’s essential for driving innovation, boosting engagement, and solving real-world problems. That’s why leaders everywhere have turned to the Everything DiSC Workplace® Assessment, a powerful tool that helps teams crack the code on how they work, communicate, and collaborate.

Ready to ditch the guesswork and help your people truly thrive? Let’s dive into what DiSC is all about — and how it can unlock your team's full potential.

What Is the Everything DiSC® Workplace Assessment?

The Everything DiSC® Workplace Assessment is a tool that can help professionals understand their workstyle and the workstyles of their colleagues. Simply put, it’s an easy way for teammates to understand themselves and each other better to improve communication, collaboration, and bottom-line results in the workplace.

You’ve probably noticed the difference that personality and disposition can make in the workplace. Some team members like direct, results-oriented communication. Others are more attuned to relationship-building and deep, thoughtful strategy. Some love to brainstorm big ideas, while others prefer to zoom in on the fine details.

Every style brings strengths and areas for improvement. The trick is not to try and change anyone’s workstyle — it’s to build team awareness of different workstyles so that you can collaborate with more ease and less conflict.

The first step in the Everything DiSC® Workplace solution is having each team member fill out an assessment. Once they’ve filled out an assessment, they’ll receive a personalized report about their workstyle and placement on the DiSC model. Then, team members can come together and share their workstyles with each other. Through facilitated learning, teams learn to both harness the power of their own style and appreciate the differing styles of their co-workers.

Understanding the Four DiSC Behavioral Styles

The DiSC model is made up of four quadrants that represent common DiSC behavioral styles in the workplace. The four styles are:

  • Dominance - Active and questioning. This describes people who are direct and outspoken with their communication.

  • Influence - Active and accepting. This describes people who are outgoing, enthusiastic, and lively.

  • Conscientious - Thoughtful and questioning. This describes people who are analytical, reserved, and precise.

  • Steady - Thoughtful and accepting. This describes people who are gentle, accommodating, and patient with others’ mistakes.

While everyone is a blend of all four DiSC styles, most of us lean toward one (or two) quadrants more of the time. When team members fill out an Everything DiSC® Profile, they’ll receive a report that lets them know where their behavioral style falls on the model. This helps them build self-awareness around their professional communication style and how it may come across to others.
